Our Mission
Education gives young people the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a future in the place they call home. Taybeh is the last remaining all-Christian village in Palestine and the Holy Land. Supporting education also helps strengthen a Christian community that has been rooted there for generations.
Beginning at Taybeh Orthodox School, this initiative supports Palestinian Christian students by helping families with the cost of education and giving young people greater opportunities for their future.
Our vision is to begin in Taybeh and, over time, expand this support to Palestinian Christian students in other communities throughout Palestine.
Meet Taybeh Orthodox School
Taybeh has deep biblical and Christian roots and is home to Christian families from three historic traditions: Greek Orthodox, Latin Catholic, and Melkite Greek Catholic.
At the heart of the community, Taybeh Orthodox School serves approximately 400 Palestinian students, including around 60 Christian students, alongside Muslim students from Taybeh and surrounding communities.
It is a place where children learn together, form friendships, discover their abilities, and prepare for their futures. Supporting its students helps strengthen an institution closely connected to the Orthodox Church and preserve the Christian presence and broader Palestinian community in Taybeh.

How much does it cost to sponsor a student?
The annual sponsorship amount varies depending on the student’s grade level. The specific amount will be provided when selecting a student or grade level to sponsor.
Will I know which student I am sponsoring?
Yes. Sponsors may receive approved information privately after being matched. Identifying information will not be displayed publicly.
How long is the commitment?
The initial commitment is for one school year. Sponsors will have the opportunity to renew their sponsorship and continue supporting their student in future years.
What does the sponsorship cover?
Sponsorship helps support a Palestinian Christian student’s education for one school year. The amount varies by grade level and helps with the educational expenses associated with the student’s schooling.
Can I communicate with my sponsored student?
Appropriate correspondence or updates may be available with parental consent and in accordance with school and child-safeguarding policies. All communication will take place through the sponsorship program.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. Donations are received and administered by the Palestinian Christian Alliance for Peace (PCAP), a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
